This is part of an artrade with :iconblackocelot: I know you asked for this black and white cat, but when I read again your comment I have already done this, and I'm waaaay too lazy to fix it, so forgive me, I've lost my honor and I'll jump from a building.

well. I always do the lineart and scan it, and thats all, not a big deal

oh, well, hmmm, I think that is a bigger deal, hehe, long story short, I use the magic eraser tool to keep only the lineart, put the lineart on top and drew on layer under the background, then I use the burn tool for shadows, and clean it ^^

I better suggest you to seek a tutorial here in DA, there are a lot of useful ones, and maybe clearer than myself
